Scrolling through the many tumblrs of queer women I noticed a sizable gap in the diversity of the items on offer to oogle. A dominance of white, skinny, young women seems to rain throughout as the requirement to land on one of those posts or even a reblog. “Queer” as a culture was created to break down hegemonic forms of identity so seeing this within our society, and then again reiterated again in the queer internet subculture, makes me uncomfortable.

Not to say that ethnicity is the only thing to focus on but as a queer, asian, female-ish person myself, this is important to me. I’m hoping to contribute to the promotion of all the beautiful, attractive, hot queer asian women* out there.

*They might not all identify as being queer but I like to think everyone’s a bit queer…so here goes!
